Description
Rosa Cerarols is a humanist through and through, not only because she teaches future Humanities graduates at Pompeu Fabra University, but also because of her transversal, holistic, historical and even literary vision of geography, traits already present in the doctoral thesis I have just mentioned. Rosa and the small group of geographers at Pompeu Fabra University (initially led by Lluís Riudor and, later, by Toni Luna) have introduced the so-called "geohumanities" throughout Spain, a very active and dynamic subdiscipline in Anglo-Saxon countries, but not widely practised in our country.
