With the title "Books, monsters and cathedrals', was organized in 2006 a series of lectures to mark the centenary of the first edition of the novel "Josafat", by Prudenci Bertrana. Attended Xavier Perez, professor of Audiovisual Narrative of the Pompeu Fabra, Emili Olcina, writer and translator specializing in fantastic narrative, and Laura Merchant, professor of Art Theory at the University of Barcelona. Now disclosed the texts of the speeches that were read at the time, conveniently reviewed and updated by the authors, but also has added an unpublished lecture of Maria Barbal, a article by Gloria Granell and, edited by Xavier Pla, a unpublished manuscript that is conserved in the fund Prudenci and Aurora Bertrana of the University of Girona. n
