Description
The authors involved in this work stem from very different perspectives, but their texts have in common the fact stimulate reflection on the complex interactions between bioethics and biopolitics. Although these are two areas that in recent decades have become increasingly more important, attempts to establish connections between them are still very rare. Probably, in the XXI century, the possibilities of management, manipulation and transformation of life experience a boom. It is necessary, therefore, not only be aware of the ethical conflicts that this phenomenon may result, but also, and above all, ask yourself the power relations that may end up determining their ultimate drift. When life is at stake we must demand the presence of the (bio) ethics, but without forgetting the importance of the (bio) politics.n
