The combined studies we offer is a representation of the ones generated around Corpus PAAU 1992. Since the beginning of the project it was taken into account the homogeneity of the all the data for the study to be useful and could not be questioned the representative value of the corpus. Its development forced the group that composes it to be interested in certain normative aspects, in the characteristics of the specific texts, in studies on Grammar and Speech, in estimate of vocabulary frequencies, in informatics’ tools to the treatment of languages, history and theory of education at Secondary levels, and in to follow other investigation lines that search related aims; so, it was forced to interdisciplinary, as demands everything that is applied in general. In this volume it is attempted to reply mainly to concrete linguistic questions about the academic written use in Spanish language as it is found in the end of the High School.
