This conference, organized by the Research Group in Statistics together with Applied Economics and Health (GRECS) from the University of Girona and the centre for Research into Economics and Health (CRES) from the Pompeu Fabra University and the Territorial Delegation of the Department of Health of the Generalitat of Catalonia, dealt with the topic from various perspectives, considering both methodological aspects as well as those related to the financing, management, planning and evaluation of these services. All twelve papers presented here show, as in a mosaic, the main factors to take into account to achieve a sustainable provision of primary health care services, while at the same time having tools for planning and improvement.n
