In 2018, the Chair of Health Promotion at the University of Girona celebrated its 10th anniversary. The work shared over the years has made it possible to disseminate, among other things, the salutogenic model, the determinants approach, work focused on life skills and the conceptual framework of health promotion. The experience of these ten years has led to the creation of a network, both locally and internationally, of different professionals who share a commitment to work based on health promotion.
This book is the result of the work carried out with some of the professionals who have accompanied us throughout these ten years and who have reflected on the pillars of health promotion 30 years after the Ottawa Charter.
