This book includes the presentations of the VI International Seminar on Sports Tactics and Technique organized by the Department of Sports and Physical Education - Center for Olympic Studies of the University of Girona (former CEEF-CEO Conference) dedicated to new trends in development of sports talent.
In this book the reader will find ideas and reflections on sports talent and, especially, on issues related to its development. Said ideas and contributions have been elaborated by researchers and technicians of recognized national and international prestige.
It is our hope that the reader can find in these pages elements of theoretical reflection and contents of scientific studies that allow them to deepen their understanding of the development of sports talent, as well as help them in the task of daily training. We want the paths of training and research, not always coincident and sometimes too distant, to find points of connection that allow both domains to provide feedback and improve in their respective tasks.
