The Social Council of the University of Girona, an institution that takes and makes the university and social dialogue, on the occasion of celebrating the 15 years the University has commissioned several studies to assess the changes arising from the presence of University in its social, territorial and geographical nearer.n nThe collection of studies of the Social Council began with the economic impact analysis and diagnosis of the needs of university education in Spain. The economic and employment data are certainly fundamental, but the university is also the academic and cultural institution in Girona, and a study of missing links have been established between the UdG and other cultural agents in the Girona region.n nThis work allows to know what level of relationship in quantitative and qualitative terms that the university as the main agent of culture and education, is articulated with the cultural sector circulated in the territory. Presents the different units of the UdG qeu organizes and promotes cultural activities and their relationship with the environment.n
