The monograph is presented, resulting from a cooperation project between universities and scientific investigation of AECI, seeks to address the issue of cultural itineraries from different perspectives. On the one hand, there are more theoretical aspects of the concept of cultural route and itinerary, the main theories, organization and structure as a tourism product, its role as a tool for tourism planning, etc. On the other hand, shows the results of some research conducted in the framework of the project in the Way of Diamonds of the Estrada Real (which were roads used by settlers since the discovery of gold in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais to the period of their extinction).
