This compilation is the last one of seven publications of the Departament de Geografia, Història i Història de l'Art de la Universitat de Girona (UdG), as a result of the experiences of the academic interchange of the last twelve years, with teachers and researchers from Latin America or who have been working within this territorial scope.nHence the title of the book is América Latina. Documentos territoriales, arising from the intention to review geographic and social subjects taught in the classrooms of the UdG, in the form of conferences and debates. Its structure and composition responds basically to the content of the last cycles of conferences on Latin America made in Girona. The publication has been structured in three sections that maintain a proportion between the dozen articles from native investigations (4) and those from Mexico (4) and Brazil (4). n
