Description
The volume that the reader has in his hands is dedicated to analyze the origin of the town in the territories on either side of the eastern sector of the Pyrenees with the intention of observing, from archaeological data, two aspects of the same coin. On the one hand, the exploitation of the field in Indian context since the time of conquest or, sometimes, from a little earlier, and how those settlement patterns were maintained, evolved and disappeared down the other, the emergence of a new model, the villa, and monitoring its implementation and evolution to become hegemonic to the change of era. Certainly would have been exciting and very useful to expand our survey to other regions, which far exceeds the possibilities and feasibility of this conference. n
